Palming

Rub your palms and gently cup your closed eyes with them. Hold the posture for 15 to 20 seconds until the warmth is gone.

Do the figure 8

This workout technique will improve the flexibility of your eyes and strengthen them.

Imagine there is a figure 8 in front of your eyes. Now move your eyeballs along the number’s outlines and then trace the figure in backward direction.

Do this activity in multiple sets for 3 to 5 minutes as it is one of the exercises to improve vision fast.

Zooming

Hold an object at arm’s length and focus on it for a few seconds. Gradually, pull the object closer without shifting your focus. Do this until the object is only 3 inches away from you and then start all over again by holding the objects back to an arm’s length.

Change the focus

This exercise requires you to change your focus from nearby things to the objects far away. You can either sit or stand up to perform it. Here is how it’s done:

  • Hold an object that’s at least 10 inches away from you.
  • Focus on that object for about 5 seconds.
  • Now shift your focus on something 15 to 20 feet away and hold your gaze for 5 seconds.
  • When changing focus, take deep breaths.
  • Repeat the steps for 2 minutes.

Making your eyes to quickly change their focus will enhance their flexibility and provide good vision across all distances. Since it improves both near and far vision, it’s one of the best eye exercises for astigmatism.

Give ’em some rest

Nothing is a simpler or more obvious way to improve eyesight than to give your eyes the much needed rest. Make sure to get at least 8 hours of sleep every day. If you use computer or digital devices for long hours, take 10 minutes off after consuming 50 minutes of screen time.
