Stunning Eye Make-up — How to put on even with your glasses on
Getting ready for the party?
Dressed up in a beautiful outfit, a pair of stilettos and put on an eye-conic make-up, foundation, fake eyelashes, mascara, luscious lipsticks and …
All set for the party. But wait, don’t forget your eyeglasses.
Why?
I am technically blind without my glasses. It is too much of an inconvenience without glasses. And lenses, forget it. Lenses need a lot of attention when wearing them. And they are too much of a hassle to put on your eyes. So, I don’t have many options unless I brainwash myself to believe that I can see everything without glasses.
Eyeglasses hide your make-up. All the hard work you do on your eyes gets hidden behind your glasses. You can accentuate your eyes that will make your eyes stand out then get hidden underneath your glasses. Or buy glasses online that look good with your makeup.
Make-up Style that will uplift your look
No Black Eyeliners
If you love your black eyeliners that make your eyes look bigger and brighter, then sorry to break your heart because black eyeliners vanish behind your eyeglasses.
Yup, your amazing style of frames hides your eyes and your eye lines especially when they don’t stand out against your glasses. Your eyeliner is too dark to stand out behind your glasses. Try burgundy or blue eyeliners to make your eyes visible.
If you wear dark shades of blue or green for your glasses, then apply eyeliners of a lighter shade of blue or green. Emphasize the thickness of the lines. If you wear a thin-rimmed frame then go for thinner lines. If you are wearing thicker rims then apply thicker lines of eyeliners.
Curl your eyelashes
Your mascara-ed eyelashes graze your glasses. Curl them with an eyelash curler. Use mascara that will lengthen your eyelashes rather than volumizing. Focus on the roots of your eyelashes and curl them in the middle for a dramatic look. Your eyes will look lively and enchanting.
Use Lighter Eye shadows
No Smoky eye shadows. Please. Smoky make-up is alluring but not with your glasses. More so, your smoky make-up will look like eyebags under your eyes. Avoid grey or any darker shades of eyeshadows. A burgundy eyeshadow — a definite yes, Some lighter and glittery eyeshadow — definitely go for it.
Shape your brows
Make your brows stand out to draw attention towards your eyes. Your glasses don’t hide your brows. Use brow gel and draw your brows upwards and outwards. This will make your look stand out.
Glasses that don’t hide your make-up
Black Steals the show
Avoid wearing black glasses. Black is an all-favourite colour. If you can avoid wearing black glasses, your eye makeup will stand out. There are many glasses frames for women that makes your eyes stand out without compromising the style of the frames.
If you want to wear black glasses, you have to take extra attention to the choices of eye makeup colour. You will need lighter shades to contrast with your glasses frames.
Wider frames that don’t hide your eyes
Your eyes appear better behind a wider frame. A small frame hides your eyes and makes your eyes appear smaller. With wider frames, your eyes are magnified and appear larger and brighter. If you are self-conscious about your small eyes, wear wider frames to make your eyes look bigger.
Cat-eye glasses to accentuate your look
You can wear cat-eye glasses. You can have a bubbly and cheerful appearance with your cat-eye glasses. Add While applying eyeliner add wings at the ends to make your eyes look longer.
Single-tone glasses
Dual-tone or patterned glasses take the attention away from your eyes. Gradient tones or uniform tones will make your eyes visible. Try to wear glasses with a single tone to not hide your eyes. Your makeup with a gradient or uniform tones will come out nicely.
Transparent glasses frames
Transparent glasses or translucent glasses are best for makeups. These glasses blend with your skin tones, your eye make-up will look striking and you will have a picture-perfect appearance.

Wear clear glasses that show your eyes.
Cheap prescription glasses gives out reflection, hiding your eyes. Anti-glare glasses don’t allow glare to fall on your eyes and prevent reflections to form over your glasses. These glasses show your eyes clearly. Any kind of make-up will be visible under these glasses.
Also, the blue light glasses gives you a clearer vision and your lenses also appear clean and clear making your eyes visible. You can try out these glasses which do much good for your eyes.
Other than eye make-up
Lip gloss
Choose a lip gloss that contrasts with your glasses. For a darker shade of glasses, choose a lighter shade of lipsticks, and vice versa. Try not to go very bold with your lip gloss.
Concealer to hide glasses marks on your nose
Your glasses frames leave marks on your face. More so when you are using frames with hinges on the nose pads. Don’t forget to apply concealer to hide away the marks. Also, don’t apply too much foundation that comes out with your glasses.
